Hot damn. I'm literally in love with this skirt.
I first discovered the Catara skirt, and Aje in general, through blogger Joy Hysteric from Australia. Her boutique sells a bunch of really awesome stuff from really cool designers who deserve more credit, a lot of which are from Australia as well.
What caught my attention about this skirt is the cut out hem at the bottom. The cuts seem rather uneven and random looking and add an edge, in my opinion, to this otherwise preppy and formal skirt.
The only downside to this lovely number is it's micro mini cut. Also, the largest size it comes in is an Aussie 12, or a US 8 (which is about my size). There's literally no way my butt could fit into this thing and look nice. Literally no way. Therefore, this skirt is my motivation to lose weight *stuffs handful of Lucky Charms into mouth* yeah, that's not happening.
At $390, me owning this baby is a long shot, so I can give up on my dietary goals now. However, if you have the dough and skinny ass legs and want to own this skirt as much as I do, it can be purchased on the the Joy Hysteric website or from Aje's site, however most of the colors and sizes there are sold out.
Oh yeah did I forget to mention that this comes in like 135420495 different colors too? And they all look hot.
I really like this lime one for a pop of color.
Well, that's enough wishing for today.
Keep an eye out for my musings on business casual attire coming up. Lately I've had to deal with the fact that I'm becoming an adult person and have to start more or less dressing like one in certain situations *shudder*. I bought a bunch of cute "business-like" pieces from Bufallo Exchange today and I'm planning on making a series of posts about taking casual clothes and making them more formal and taking formal business clothes and making them more casual. Should be tons of corporate fun.
Til then,
